Clark County invites qualified firms or individuals to submit bids. Questions regarding this bid must be directed to the Bid Contact listed in this bid. The "Project" of which the "Work" of the Contract is a part titled “Shadow Rock Park, Convert Fields 1 & 2 to Synthetic Turf” and is located at 2650 Los Feliz St. Las Vegas, Nevada 89156. The "Work" is described in the Project Drawings and Divisions 01 through 33 of the Project Manual.The Work consists of the removal of approximately 110, 000 square feet of existing natural turf grass on two baseball fields, remove and modification of existing irrigation system piping, and install new synthetic turf playing system.Construction includes all administrative work as outlined in the Division 01 General Requirements and the following using materials noted on Drawings and Specifications: demolition and disposal of existing natural turf grass, removal of existing irrigation piping and components related to existing turf grass irrigation system, import and placement of permeable aggregate materials, finish grading, turf edge anchor, installation of synthetic turf playing system including shock padding, synthetic sports field turf, infill material, lines and markings and any incidental measures or materials required to accomplish this work. Athletic sports field synthetic turf is to pass Gmax and HIC testing; ASTM F355a Standard Test Method for Impact Attenuation of Playing Surface Systems and Materials, ASTM F1936 Standard Specification for Impact Attenuation of Turf Systems as Measured in the Field (Gmax), and EN1969 Surfaces for Sports Areas, Determination of Thickness of Synthetic Sports Surfaces, Method B. Site Cleaning; Concrete Reinforcing; Cast in Place Concrete; Earthwork, Synthetic Turf; and Permeable Crushed Aggregate Base as specified.
