Severe Dyslexia Description:The municipality of Hoorn organizes an admission procedure (semi open house) on behalf of the municipalities of Drechterland, Enkhuizen, Hoorn, Koggenland, Medemblik, Opmeer and Stede Broec (Westfriesland Region) for the implementation of diagnostics and treatment of Severe Dyslexia for young people aged 7 to 13 years. This concerns support under the Youth Act, where diagnostics are used after insufficient results from support within education and treatment takes place. according to the Dyslexia Diagnostics and Treatment Protocol (PDDB 3.0). The assignment includes: • Diagnosis of Severe Dyslexia (12 hours); • Treatment of Severe Dyslexia (maximum 60 treatment hours). The region aims to have all providers meet the requirements suitability and implementation requirements to conclude a framework agreement. The agreement has an initial term of two years with the option of four one-year extensions.
