The International Finance Corporation (Ifc) is Seeking the Services of a Consultant (Firm) to Gauge the Potential for Private Investment, as Well as Provide Recommendations on Reforms to the Enabling Environment that Support Investments in the Agriculture, Forestry and Light Manufacturing Sectors in Paraguay. The Objective of this Analysis is to Inform the Country Private Sector Diagnostic (Cpsd), Providing Actionable Recommendations that could Mobilize Private Capital in These Sectors. The Consultant will be Engaged to Undertake a Comprehensive Competitiveness Analysis of the Industry and Clusters for the Selected Sectors as Well as Specific Value Chains.
This Eoi Document Provides the Scope of Work for Three Sector Deep Dives: Sustainable Agriculture, Forestry and Light Manufacturing. It is to be Noted that Consultant/S are Allowed to Submit Their Proposal for All Three Sectors or for Any One Sector in Particular, as Per Their Credentials, Experience and Interest.
The Scope of Work Includes in Depth Analysis of Specific Value Chains in the Sector, a Comprehensive Sector Mapping, Assessment of Sector Competitiveness and Estimation of Market Potential. Cost Competitiveness should be Benchmarked against Global or Regional Leaders in These Markets. The Analysis should Identify the Sector's Key Constraints as Well as Provide Actionable Recommendations that can Unlock Private Sector Engagement in a 3-5 Year Time Frame.
