Services for care and handling of abandoned and lost animals The subject of procurement is the collection and treatment of unregistered dogs, as well as abandoned and lost animals in the area of the city of Šibenik for a period of 4 years. The subject of procurement includes: collection of abandoned and lost dogs, and their protection and housing, keeping records of abandoned and lost dogs, vaccination and microchipping of dogs, collection of abandoned and lost cats, their protection and housing, keeping records of abandoned and lost cats, sterilization or castration of abandoned and lost cats and adoption or release into the environment from which they were taken if the environment is suitable for their return. Taking care of stray dogs includes: hunting, catching and transport to shelters, clinical examination by a veterinarian, isolation if the veterinarian assesses, vaccination against rabies and microchipping, castration-sterilization, feeding and care with the "no-kill" system, i.e. without killing healthy and adoptable animals, except in the case of in the manner prescribed by the current Animal Protection Act and with a veterinary indication and advertising in the media for the purpose of adoption. Taking care of abandoned cats includes: hunting, catching and transport to the shelter, clinical examination by a veterinarian, isolation if necessary veterinarian assessment, castration-sterilization, feeding and care with the "no-kill" system, i.e. without killing healthy and adoptable animals, except in the case and in the manner prescribed by the current law on animal protection...
