Description : Service Concession - Woden Road North Nursery The Council is seeking a provider to operate a day nursery, known previously as the Patch Day Nursery, co-located on the site of Old Park Primary School. The Council is offering the successful provider a five-year lease, with an option to extend for a further five years. The successful provider will enter into a service concession contract alongside the lease, this concession contract will be for five years with an option to extend for a further five years. Background Woden Road North Nursery was established in 2008 as part of the development of the Wednesbury Children's Centre on the Old Park school site in Wednesbury. The nursery was operated, since opening, by the Governing Body of Old Park Primary School. The nursery has always had a good reputation and regularly had a waiting list for places. The governing body took the decision that it could no longer operate the nursery and it was closed in April 2023. The school has an excellent reputation in the community and are committed to a positive working relationship with any new provider.
