That, the Municipal Corporation for Social Development of Antofagasta, requires hiring the services of a natural or legal person to establish the “ENT SERVICE OF ATTENTION TO USERS ON WAITING LIST AND DELIVERY OF HEARING AIDS TO USERS WITH HEARING HEARING IN THE COMMUNE OF ANTOFAGASTA”, whose objective is to contract a comprehensive otorhinolaryngological care service for users of Primary Health Care APS in the commune of Antofagasta. This service must include specialized medical care by otorhinolaryngologists, which includes consultations, examinations such as audiometry, impedanciometry, functional examination of the VIII nerve or similar, and ear washing, procedures and, at least, one subsequent control. Furthermore, within this service, the delivery of hearing aids must be included to users diagnosed with hearing loss, between 5 and 64 years old, who have a medical indication and a prescription for hearing aids from the specialist. Likewise, a control is contemplated after delivery of the hearing aids to ensure their proper functioning and fit. This service will be intended for users on the waiting list for otorhinolaryngological care and those diagnosed with hearing loss, in order to guarantee timely care and improve the quality of life of the beneficiaries through a comprehensive intervention.
