question 1: page 4, section c.2.1.2 - the requirements section does not include the number of receiving workstations and mobile computers required. Can you please provide this information?
answer 1: workstations: congressional acceptance site (cas): 1, dirksen mailroom: 1, senate mail facility (smf): 3, mobile computers: 28
question 2: site survey/page 4, section c.2.1.2 - fixed?mount scanners were mentioned in the site survey but are not noted in the requirements. Does the senate post office intend to source these scanners on their own, or is the contractor required to provide these items?
answer 2: fixed-mount scanners are not required.
Question 3: section c.2.1.2 includes a definition of the backlit pressure-sensitive signature capture pad. Is this a definition of the signature pad within the tracking assistant or does the government require counter signature pads at a delivery window?
answer 3: this reference is to the mobile handheld computer having the ability to capture a signature. We do not require counter signature pads.
Question 4: is it a requirement that the handheld tracking assistants synch both via bluetooth wifi and a cradle connected to a pc?
