REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS DESCRIPTION OF SCOPE OF WORK The Work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all superintendence, overhead, labour, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, fuel, transportation and all things necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of Modernization of a single direct-acting buried hydraulic passenger elevator at the City of Surrey Library - Semiahmoo Branch, located at Unit 100 - 1815 152 St, Surrey, British Columbia, V4A 9Y9 (the “Place of Work”) in strict accordance with the Specifications and accompanying Drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract. The general components of the Work include: Modernization of one direct-acting, buried hydraulic passenger elevator including new motor, valve assembly, heat exchanger, tank heater, overspeed valve, pit shut-off valve, control system, auxiliary slowdown devices, position transducer, control system, car door restrictor, door operator, emergency recall and associated equipment identified in the attached Specifications. The detailed scope of Work is as described in the Special Provisions (Schedule B - Appendix 1), Supplementary Specifications (Project) (Schedule B- Appendix 2), and Contract Drawings (listed below) (Schedule B - Appendix 2A).
