The current operating agreement for reservation and rental activities ends on December 31, 2026. Event and sports use of the arena that generates income are remained relatively few. The city recognizes the importance of SnowAreena for the development of tourism in Syötte and the entire city, and the city is committed to the activity and its development. The site is estimated to have commercial potential, but at the same time it is it has been recognized that utilizing the potential will require significant changes to the operation of the arena. Entrepreneurs have been involved in the preparation of the new operating model.
