Tender Details

The project is part of the European inland waterway project Seine-Scheldt. This project envisages the creation, within a European context, a large inland connection gabariet (push convoys and barge combinations CEMT-class Vb of width 11.4 m, length 185 m and depth 3.5 m) between the Seinebekkand on the one hand and the Scheldt and the North Sea on the other. The project area includes the Lys between the highway N357 and the mouth of the Mandel and includes the following works: - Construction of a new Ex-lock with associated infrastructure. - Demolition of the existing lock with accompanying infrastructuur. - The Lys floor within the project area to a minimum depth of 4.5 m relative to the nominal level. - Adaptation of existing quays and banks on the channeled Lys within the project according to the amended soil level.
