Description of the Consultancy: Consulting services to bring 50 electrical transformer maintenance workshops to the point of certification [1] (includes training). [1] Bring to the point of certification maintenance workshops for electrical transformers and treatmentor dielectric oil, through the identification of their areas of opportunity, training of their personnel, advice and follow-up so that they implement good practices that avoid cross-contamination with PCBs in their businesses. Estimated duration: 12 months Start date: September 2023 End Date: August 2024 Project Number and Title: 00092730 FSP Environmentally Sound Management and Destruction of PCBs in Mexico: Second Stage Objective: Advise and prepare 50 workshops and companies dedicated to the maintenance and repair of electrical transformers so that they canbe certified in the future as a "reliable supplier that uses adequate procedures to avoid cross-contamination by Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) in the maintenance or repair of electrical transformers", through the following specific objectives: 1. Diagnose, Train and bring 50 electrical maintenance workshops to the point of certification, through the implementation of best practices that allow the management of PCBs and contaminated waste, to avoid cross-contamination of equipment in compliance with NOM-133-SEMARNAT-2015 . 2. Registerar data disaggregated by sex from the 50 workshops and implement the project's Gender Action Plan (PAG) in 10 of these as pilots (it will be delivered to the company that wins the call).
