Sculptural composition "Virgin Mary" - open competition for creation of a model for a monumental sculptural composition of the Holy Mother of God (Virgin Mary), located at the intersection with a roundabout on the road I-9 "Sunny Beach - Burgas" and St. St. Cyril and Methodius Street, in the land of the village of Ravda, Nessebar municipality SCOPE AND VOLUME-SPACE SOLUTION The project must offer a complete solution for a sculptural element that includes: •Sculptural element: A figure or composition of the Virgin Mary made of bronze. The work must have a high artistic value, modern plastic culture and be consistent with the Orthodox canon, while allowing an author's interpretation of the monumental silhouette. 4. MATERIALS AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS •Main figure material: Bronze (suitable for specific marine climatic conditions and corrosion). • Durability: The structure must be engineered for high wind loads typical of the coastal area. 5. REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPETITION MATERIALS (FOR PARTICIPANTS) According to approved draft architectural situation plan, professional authors (sculptors and architects) must present: Scale model: 1. A sculptural model of the figure made of durable material (plaster, polymer resin, clay, wood, metal, cardboard, recycled materials, etc.), located on a plinth made of suitable material, in a scale of 1:10, to show the author's plastic culture and anatomical precision.
