Description
The following specifications and dimensions apply to the purchase of one Scrap Grapple Bucketby the Iowa Department of Transportation, Iowa DOT. Bucket will be used move objects/debrisof various size and length. Model bid must be under current standard production for whichrepair parts and accessories are readily available from the successful bidder. Dealer or vendormodifications to a standard model for the express purpose of meeting specificationrequirements will not be acceptable.BUCKET, SCRAP GRAPPLE1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTSA. Open ends (Cut-out sides), closed bottom, and center brace to allow for variouslength and size of material.B. Open Front dual clamps operated by dual hydraulic cylinders.C. Bolt-on, double-sided, reversible cutting edge.D. Bucket must be compatible with a 2023 John Deere 524P with a standard Hi-Viscoupler.E. Approximately 96 inches wide, not to exceed 102”.F. Approximate weight 2600lbsPaintManufacturer-s standard paint is acceptable.MANUALSThree (3) manuals must be supplied. Manuals must include operators, service and repairinformation as well as an illustrated parts list.WARRANTYEntire unit must be covered under warranty for one (1) year. Warranty must include allparts and labor to correct any material, workmanship or manufacture defects. Ifcomponent manufacturer-s warranties are for a longer period, they must apply. Warrantymust begin when unit is delivered to the requesting location.
