Tender are invited for Work includes the following : Disconnection and removal of one (1) existing steam to how water, shell and tube heat exchanger and steam pressure reducing station that produces hot water for auxiliary/emergency back-up building heat; Installation of one (1) new gas-fired boiler to provide auxiliary/emergency back-up building heat. This installation includes electrical connections, combustion gas flues, a new circulation pump and associated piping/accessories; Disconnection and removal of two (2) steam to hot water, shell and tube heat exchangers that produces domestic hot water for the buildings' plumbing fixtures. Installation of two (2) gas-fired domestic water heaters and one (1) domestic water storage tank for production of domestic hot water for the buildings' plumbing fixtures. This installation includes electrical connections, combustion gas flues, a new thermostatic mixing valve, circulation pumps and associated piping/accessories. Installation of new natural gas service to provide fuel for the new boiler and domestic water heaters. Reconfiguration of water softener piping arrangement to only provide soft water to the domestic hot water system in lieu of current total building domestic water softening configuration. Miscellaneous architectural walls and doors to accommodate/conceal new piping and flues. This work will be performed by the owners' own work force.
