Scheduling, Steering and Coordination Missions for the creation of equipment dedicated to urban cultures The Océade was originally an aquatic center built in 1989 and abandoned in 1991. It has since become the illicit playground of Street art artists as well as a squatting place. As part of its sports and cultural policy as well as its Ile Lacroix development project, the Rouen Normandy Metropolis has decided to launch a project to renovate the Océade, in order to give a second life to this equipment. The objective is to transform the Océade site into a sports and cultural center dedicated to urban activities, paying homage to the latest occupations and meeting the needs of the population. This operation will, among other things, be an opportunity to develop urban sports spaces (relocate the skateboard club to new adapted sports equipment, create a parkour space, develop a 3x3 basketball court, etc.) and to create spaces dedicated to activities urban cultural: dance hall, a Graff-Park. The objective is to design a multi-purpose space adapted to the needs of a set of urban sports and cultural associations, where Océade will play a lever for development, sharing, meeting and promoting urban culture. The work will be carried out by separate trades, with a “closed and covered” macro-lot dedicated to the envelope (airtightness and thermal performance), etc.
