Tenders are invited for Scenarios for a carbon neutral Nordic 2020 (NCES2020)
Short description : On January 25, 2019, the prime ministers in Finland, Iceland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark signed "Declaration on Nordic carbon neutrality where they commit to" assess in 2020 the scenarios of how the Nordic countries can achieve carbon neutrality, including implications for various sectors "." Scenariosfor a carbon neutral Nordic 2020 "(NCES2020) will provide neutral, non-partisan analysis to provide solid, scientific input to the political debate on energy technology and a carbon neutral Nordic area. NCES2020 will provide carbon neutral scenarios and CO2 pathways compatible with: limit atthe changes to less than 1.5 oC. It will contribute to strengthening Nordic cooperation and expertise in energy modeling; provide a comprehensive overview of energy technologies, their costs, greenhouse gas reduction potential and resource potential. In addition, the project aims to improve data sharing andstatistics between the Nordic countries.
