Description
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration-s (NASA) Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) intends to issue a contract extension to the Safety and Mission Assurance Services II (SMAS II) contract number 80GSFC17C0015 pursuant to the statutory authority for other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements.
This procurement will provide a contract extension for a period of six (6) months, for the period of December 01, 2025 through May 31, 2026, to allow for the continuation of services until its follow-on competitive procurement is awarded. Other supported projects include the Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope (WFIRST), the robotic satellite servicing spacecraft Restore-L, and NASA-s most advanced global ocean color and aerosol mission to date, the Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem (PACE) satellite. A lapse in service would incur unacceptable delays and mission risk to all current and upcoming projects.
Interested parties may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the Primary Point of Contract no later than 5:00 PM Eastern Standard time July 11, 2025. The capability statement(s) should incl...
