THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
This synopsis/solicitation 1305M223QNCNJ0615 constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04.
The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Services (NOS), Office of Coast Survey (OCS), Navigation Response Branch has a requirement for steering system repair services for the 57- NOAA/OCS Research Vessel BAY HYDRO II, NOAA Hull Number S5401.
Work shall be performed with 150 nautical miles (by boat) of Patuxent River, Maryland.
Period of Performance: Start date will be negotiated at contract award, but work must begin no later than January 2, 2024. Once work begins, work must be completed in 30 days (NLT January 31, 2024).
The Government will award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Offer (LPTA). Quote shall include all costs associated with the CLIN unless otherwise indicated on the vendor-s quote.
