Description

Notice: This is a sole source acquisition from Properly Sorted, LLC, for National Jukebox Database Services for the Library of Congress- Moving Picture, Broadcasting, and Recorded Sound Division (MBRS)

The Library of Congress (LoC) seeks to continue the expansion of the National Jukebox. The National Jukebox is one of the Library of Congress- most successful and significant websites, supporting the Library-s core mission to make its collections broadly available to the American people. This vendor will also continue to support the National Recording Registry (NRR) database.

The vendor, Properly Sorted LLC., had been responsible for the development and maintenance of the database and website that supports audio digitization workflow and editing of descriptive metadata for the National Jukebox website since the project-s inception in 2010. The firm also coordinates the migration of data contributed to the Jukebox project by the University of California, Santa Barbara and their closely related database, the Discography of American Historical Recordings (DAHR). Both the Library-s National Jukebox database and the DAHR are essential building blocks to the National Jukebox website.

The LoC intends to fulfill this requirement by issuing a sole source contract award to Properly Sorted LLC Any firm that wishes to be considered for this requirement and believes that this does not meet the Sole Source criteria must submit a capability statement that demonstrates its ability to meet all the requirements described in the draft Statement of Work (below).
