Tender Details

Public transport services in the Lapland region according to the route-based license agreement. In this call for tenders, route-based access rights agreement means Regulation (EC) No. 1370/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council (service agreement regulation) and a right-of-use agreement in accordance with the Transport Services Act (320/2017), which is drawn up to manage route-like public transport services planned by the customer. The content of the right of use is defined in the appendix General of the route-based right of use agreement terms. Traffic in accordance with this agreement is granted an exclusive right in accordance with the Service Contract Regulation by a separate administrative decision in return for fulfilling public service obligations. The exclusive right is granted as in the appendix A draft license agreement has been defined. The interoperability requirements required by the Transport Services Act (Section 157) are described in more detail in the request for tenders and its appendices. The object to be acquired has the possibility of one (1) 12-month option period. The procedure prior to the possible implementation of the options is described in the appendix "Draft License Agreement". A possible option will be implemented at the prices and conditions according to the offer, relating the actual Contract Period to the option period.
