GLA Rough Sleeping to include the services below: Lot 1 _ MAPS :This service offers specialist capacity to help migrants identify and/or secure a sustainable route off the streets or avoid rough sleeping all together. Referrals come through charities and public sector organisations supporting migrants rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping. Lot 2 _ Crisis Protection and Response Services: This is a pan-London service that currently provides a rapid response to StreetLink alerts for people sleeping rough. StreetLink is a national service, funded by central Government, that enables members of the public to report people sleeping rough via their website, with the aim of connecting them with support from a street outreach team. In London, this is supplemented by the StreetLink London phoneline (currently part-funded by the GLA through grant). The service currently provides street outreach seven days a week across 26 London boroughs which currently focuses on rapidly responding to StreetLink referrals for people sleeping rough and providing a consistent response across London to find people as quickly as possible. This service provides rapid outreach to people via StreetLink alerts. The service undertakes on-street assessment with those people it meets and uploads this information on Combined Homelessness and Information Network (CHAIN).
