Tender are invited for The proposed project will replace the existing medical air and vacuum source equipment and provide redundant source equipment on the parking level (P-Level) of the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center (RRUMC). The existing medical air and vacuum source equipment currently do not have a permanently installed plumbed-in-place back-up. The project will replace the existing medical air and vacuum source equipment and add a second set of source equipment to provide redundancy during outages and routine maintenance. The project area is approx. 650 SF of existing mechanical space to be augmented by an additional 400 SF of additional space acquired by removing parking spaces. The project will be phased so that service to the Hospital is maintained without interruption. Construction cost for the medical air and vacuum replacement project, is anticipated to be approx. $1.7 million, pending further study.
