This is not a request for competitive offers, and no solicitation is available. Market research has determined that these items are highly specialized, are only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of items will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award the contract with an effective date of 07 May 2026 to Roche Diagnostics, 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46256-1025; Unique Entity ID: JDMDFEZBYH36.
This is a Brand-Name Only requirement for Fayetteville Coastal Healthcare System. Roche is the original equipment manufacturer of the Roche Liat Consumables and the sole provider for COVID-19, COVID/Flu A&B/RSV, Strep A, and CT/NG/MG test kits and controls in which the Fayetteville Coastal Healthcare System. Roche has no authorized distributors, and they are the sole manufacturer of the Liat consumable supplies and test kits. The Liat consumables are specially designed and manufactured to only be used with Roche s instruments and equipment and are the only available test kits available for use on the Cobas Liat System. No other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements per FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
