Acquisition of an Automated High-Precision Dispensing and 3-Axis Robotic Dispensing System for Advanced Polymer and Sensor Fabrication The University of Ottawa seeks to acquire an automated high-precision robotic dispensing system, associated dispensing hardware, and confocal laser integration to support advanced materials research under the SSMART (Sustainable Soft Materials enabled through Advanced Regulatory Toxicology) research program. The proposed system includes a 3-axis robotic dispensing platform, precision dispensing controllers, confocal laser height sensing, enclosure systems, syringe dispensing accessories, and associated automation components. The equipment will support the fabrication and characterization of next-generation sustainable polymers, biodegradable electronics, soft materials, and advanced sensing platforms. The system will enable highly reproducible deposition of functional inks, polymers, biomaterials, adhesives, and conductive or semiconductive materials onto a variety of substrates for research applications including organic electronics, toxicology-enabled materials development, and high-throughput materials screening.
