Purpose of this Advance Proposed Procurement Notice: This is an advance notice for the procurement of a Contractor to construct and maintain a detour bridge on C.S. 912-02, over Stuart creek located approximately 17.5 kms north of the junction with Highway No. 913. Please note that all quantities and project details are subject to change. This tender will have a shortened advertising period and will have an early completion date. The work is expected to take place as early as July 2025. Tender documents will be added to Sasktenders when available. The Ministry reserves the right to not proceed with advertising this work.. Description of the Procurement: The bridge on C.S. 912-02 over Stuart creek has sustained significant damage due to recent wildfires in the area. A detour adjacent to the existing bridge is required to re-open the road. The detour will also be used as part of a subsequent contract to permanently replace the damaged bridge to accommodate traffic during construction. The expectation is to have construction of the new permanent bridge completed by March 31, 2026. C.S. 912-02 will be closed to traffic until the completion of the detour. It is suggested that contractors assess the site prior to bidding to assess the span length of bridge required to fit the site. Soffit clearances requirements will be provided with the tender documents and will be intended to provide navigation accommodation under the temporary bridge. Any questions regarding the above can be sent to RFxquestions@gov.sk.caca with the subject line: “B25069- Advance Noticee”. Tender documents will be added when available.
