Tenders are invited for Road safety assessment of Mexico's highway network
The objective of the assignment is to perform road safety analysis on a large scale; specifically; for the roughly 4;200 km of concessioned highways managed by the FONADIN; by leveraging a combination of open-source data and remote sensing techniques encompassing both low- and high-resolution data that would allow for cost and time savings as compared to other methods. The primary objective is to identify potential areas of risks and formulate data-driven recommendations; ultimately enhancing overall road safety.The results of the Consultancy will be used by the World Bank experts in road safety to provide specific recommendations to Mexico-s National Bank of Public Works and Services (BANOBRAS) for improving/ prioritizing safety interventions on the concessioned highway network.
