ROAD IMPROVEMENT
Project Description:
Supply of labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary for the excavation, preparation, bedding, placement, and installation of riprap for slope protection, erosion control, and stabilization of riverbanks, drainage channels, embankments, or other designated areas.
The work shall include site clearing, excavation to the required lines and grades, preparation and compaction of the foundation or subgrade, installation of approved bedding material where required, supply and proper placement of durable angular quarry stones (riprap) in accordance with the approved plans and technical specifications, filling of voids with smaller stones where necessary, final shaping and trimming, disposal of excess excavated materials, site cleanup, and restoration of affected areas.
