The City of Burnaby (“City”) wishes to engage a qualified consulting team (the “Consultant”) with the appropriate experience, expertise, qualified personnel to provide Design and Consulting Services (the ‘Services-) to review the feasibility of installing Solar Photovoltaic (PV) panels at the Riverway Golf Course. The feasibility study will determine if there is a business case for installing PV panels and if they should re-feed the power directly to BC Hydro-s grid or to have a battery bank to store the energy and use at a different time. The consultant team shall be led by a Prime Consultant with advanced knowledge on renewable energy and electricity. Additional consultants shall be included upon recommendation by the Prime Consultant. The issue of these documents does not confer any license or grant for any other purpose.
Following Request for Qualification #44-02/24 Pre-qualification of Consultants for Building Maintenance Services (FM), only the following pre-qualified Proponents will be invited for this RFP:
1) Rimkus Consulting Group Canada Inc.2) Omicron Architecture Engineering Construction Ltd.3) Smith + Anderson (Vancouver)
An optional site visit for this RFP will be held on January 23, 2025, commencing at 1:00 PM. Proponents are requested to meet at 9001 Bill Fox Way, Burnaby, BC V5J 5J3.
