River Tyne North Bank Study

The Authority is seeking applications from suitable organisations that are interested in tendering for River Tyne North Bank Study. This project is part funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority. The North Bank of the Tyne is a large and strategically important employment corridor, providing the primary location for a nationally significant cluster of businesses in the offshore and sub-sea sector. This study will help secure the economic future of the river, including as businesses transition towards a low-carbon future, whilst also considering the wider cultural, leisure and residential offer that the river brings to the region. The study will be weighted so that the business / economic development element has primacy over other supporting themes. This study will lead to the production of a detailed set of evidence and a common narrative for the North Bank of the River Tyne.
