Mechanical Contractors May Bid This Project As Prime Contractors and Hire General, Controls and Electrical Sub-Contractors. This Project is Tendered at the Same Time As Similar Projects for Capilano and Ross Road Elementary Schools. the Contractors May Bid Selected Projects or All Three Projects. the Scope of Work Includes: Replacing Two Existing Boiler Plants in a New Location, Including Installation of Two New Viessmann Vitocrossal 200 Series Boilers, Re-Piping to New Circulating Pumps and Related Demolition, General, Controls and Electrical Work. Additional Mechanical Upgrades Include Adding a New Booster Fan to Increase Air Circulation and Replacing Existing Pneumatic Control Valves in the West Wing. Sealed Tenders will be Received at the Reception Desk at 2121 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver, Bc, V7m 2K6, by 14:00 Hours (2:00 Pm), Pacific Time, Thursday, May 31, 2018. Tender Submissions Shall be Accompanied by a Bid Bond in the Amount Ten (10) Percent of the Tender Price. the Successful Bidder Shall Provide a Performance Bond in the Amount of Fifty (50) Percent of the Contract Price. a Mandatory Pre-Tender Meeting and Site Visit will be Held on Thursday, May 17, 2018, Starting at 10:00 Am, Pacific Time, at Ross Road Elementary School, 2875 Bushnell Pl., North Vancouver and Proceeding to Breamar Elementary School and Capilano Elementary School.
