The Shire of Ashburton seeks to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the Inspection, Servicing and Maintenance to all fire equipment at Shire Facilities.The contract will involve the planned maintenance of existing Fire equipment and Fire protection systems at the Shire of Ashburton offices, assets and buildings in Tom Price, Paraburdoo, Onslow and Pannawonica.The Works are divided into six separable portions, and the Shire reserves the right to award the separable portions in full (under a single Contract), or under multiple Contracts.All works are to be completed in accordance with all relevant Australian Standard AS 1851 2012 – Maintenance (Routine Service) of Fire Protection Systems and Equipment. The Shire of Ashburton have a wide range of fire protection equipment used to maintain Shire assets. Hose reels, extinguishers, fire blankets, emergency exit lighting, smoke detectors and monitoring systems. Please refer to the attachments to this request for an indicative list of sites where services will be required.The maintenance Contract shall be at a fixed price for a period of three (3) years from the date of execution of this Contract. The Principal retains the option to extend the Contract for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods or part thereof, at an appropriate price adjustment to be agreed between the Shire and the Contractor
