Due to the changes in the internal policy of security and administration of the Servers of the National Migration Institute, where until May 2020 the Sire 1.0 registration system was installed, UNHCR Mexico decided to support the Mexican Commission for Refugee Aid (Comar) In the implementation of Sire 1.0 in an external virtual hosting that will be administered by the region to make continuous improvements to the system, as well as provide agile maintenance to the platform maintaining information security policies. It is a temporary installation, during the development phase of the new Sire 2.0 system and while the region organizes the transfer to the hosting of the General Directorate of Information and Communications Technologies of the Ministry of the Interior (Segob-DGTIC).
