The Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) is seeking the services of a capable and experienced contractor to provide construction services in relation to the lowering of the ground water table across multiple sites on the Mainland. This project aims to provide localized solutions for known issues that have been developed based on flooding that occurred during recent rainfall events. It is also intended to address high groundwater in selected areas. Sixteen (16) separate locations are included in this package of works consisting of general stormwater infrastructure. The scope of work comprises both completely new infrastructure and improvements to the existing networks. This includes the installation of new pumping stations, rising mains, solid pipes, perforated pipes, inlets/catch basins/manholes, geocells, linear ponds, spillways, and minor discharge structures in addition to the required connections to the existing stormwater system.
