Development of Baseline, Thresholds, Data Validation and Regulatory Recommendations for “Observatory Indoor Air Quality Monitoring Program” ADPHC, as the governing entity for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, has initiated the “Indoor Air Quality Observatory Program” by deploying state-of-the-art IAQ monitors to capture pollutant readings across various sectors: Public & Government, Industrial, Commercial, and Residential buildings. The “Pilot phase I” included monitor deployment in schools and residential buildings across different regions in Abu Dhabi, with future expansion to additional sectors under consideration. The aim of this scope of work is to establish structured, validated, and standardized approaches for interpreting data from these IAQ devices by leveraging expertise in biostatistics and epidemiology. This will enable the establishment of validated baselines, thresholds, and regulatory recommendations for IAQ pollutants while ensuring data integrity and applicability in policy and practice.
