The objective of this project is to address the deteriorated condition of window sealants. The existing sealants have reached the end of their service life and are exhibiting signs of failure, resulting in water infiltration during precipitation and snowmelt events. This project aims to implement short-term remedial action by replacing the compromised sealants. This interim measure is necessary to mitigate further water ingress and associated risks until the "Window and Perimeter Door Study" is completed and funding is secured for full window and door replacement. This approach aligns with recommendations from the Building Envelope Condition Assessment (BECI), which identified sealant replacement as a critical short-term repair to preserve building integrity and functionality.Anticipated award date: January 23, 2026 Anticipated consultant start date: January 30, 2026Anticipated Investment Analysis Report submission date: March 17, 2026Anticipated design completion date: August 31, 2026Anticipated construction tender date: September 30, 2026Anticipated construction end date: June 30, 2027
