The Brockville Correctional Complex and St. Lawrence Valley Correctional and Treatment Centre (BCC-SLVCTC) Project—delivered under the Design‑Bid‑Build (DBB) delivery model to the Ministry of the Solicitor General—includes constructing a new 270‑bed male correctional facility and expanding the existing St. Lawrence Valley Correctional and Treatment Centre (SLVCTC) with 25 new maximum‑security and mental‑health beds for women on the former Brockville Psychiatric Hospital site. Together totaling approximately 350, 000 square feet, the integrated facilities will share staff and amenities and require demolition, site‑service replacement, new utilities installation, and associated site improvements.
