The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain the services of a prequalified General Contractor to construct the Fire and Rescue Training Facility (the Project). This Project shall include construction of a new two (2)-story, 22, 070 square-foot facility and associated site improvements within an existing fire training campus. The Project is located at 16600 Courage Court, Leesburg, Virginia, 20175 (County Parcel Identification Number 191-16-9866-000).The new Basic Training Facility for Loudoun County Fire and Rescue will not serve as an operational fire station but serve as a classroom for recruits to study and learn. The facility will provide administrative offices, classrooms, training/breakout rooms, restrooms, showers, kitchen and dining areas, decontamination areas, supply storage, and mechanical areas, plus five (5) drive-thru apparatus bays.The estimated construction cost for the Fire and Rescue Training Facility is $16, 000, 000.
