The Town of Olds is requesting quotations from qualified moving service providers to relocate office furniture from Olds Administrative Offices (4512 46 Street) to the Olds Operations Centre (3501 70 Avenue). The selected contractor will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of office furniture and equipment. The contractor shall: Provide all labor, equipment, supplies, and transportation necessary for the move. Disassemble, pack, transport, and reassemble office furniture, including desks, chairs, conference tables, filing cabinets, miscellaneous small items, and workstations. • There are a total of 35 offices to be transferred from the Administration building to the Operations Centre, as well as furniture from 3 boardrooms, large and small appliances, office dividers, large map cabinets, boxed items, a safe, and other items still to be determined. • The Administration Building is all on ground level, and the Operations centre has two floors, compete with two sets of stairs and one small freight elevator. Ensure proper handling and protection of sensitive office equipment and IT assets. Protect floors, walls, and elevators at both locations to prevent damage. Complete the move within the agreed-upon timeline. • This office move will take place in stages between July 7 - 17, 2025. Remove and dispose of all packing materials after relocation.
