The Service Provider selected will work closely with the Project Team (particularly the National Platform Coordinator), as well as review the existing documents prepared by project experts to implement the activities within the integrated landscape management systems component of the project. The Service Provider will perform following tasks: Backstopping support to the National level Palm Oil Platform (Output 2.1) Outcome 2: Strengthened cooperation and coordination within Cocoa and Palm Oil sectors for enhanced sustainability productivity and investment and reduced land clearance Output 2.1 will be delivered through work to strengthen the existing national palm oil platform[1] (PoP) that will be based within the Ministry of Oil Palm (MOP)[2] and working closely with the Oil Palm Industry Corporation (OPIC). The platform will address significant asymmetries in information and knowledge on the nature of domestic production, its environmental, social and economic impact as well as the current and anticipated nature of international markets for palm oil.
