Simon Fraser University invites proposals from qualified and experience Vendors for the all-inclusive vendor managed supply and services of Convocation Academic Regalia.The University holds Convocation for graduating students in June and October of each year. This involves approximately 7, 000 students, 12 ceremonies, 4-days in June and 2-days in October.Simon Fraser University regalia are the red and royal blue colors of the Clan Fraser. Each attending graduate requires a clean gown, hood and cap with tassel. The University has specific needs for the colors of the gowns and hoods. For each Convocation, candidates for degrees, certificates and diplomas wear gowns, hoods and caps appropriate to the credential they are to receive. The color specifications for the gowns and hoods for each degree are provided herein.The successful proponent shall provide and maintain quality products, and high level of service for the Convocation Academic Regalia starting June Convocation 2025. The successful proponent is required to have 5000 robes and specific degree hoods (quantities of each type TBD) ready for shipping to SFU before May 21, 2025.
