The purpose of the RFP is to identify CBC/Radio-Canada-s (CBC) future provider of Credit Card processing services.CBC is currently processing payments from business and retail customers located in Canada and internationally. Payments are taken through virtual stores as well as point-of-sale (POS) terminals for card present transactions. Last year, more than 2 million transactions were processed. CBC is expecting this volume to increase in upcoming years due to increasing e-commerces stores that serve domestic and international customers.CBC/Radio-Canada uses MERX(https://www.MERX4.MERX.com/cbc) to manage its solicitation process.
