The Government of Bermuda is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced engineering firm to act as The Engineer to deliver the Swing Bridge Replacement Project in St. George-s Parish, Bermuda. The new bridge will be a seven-span viaduct, comprised of steel box girders, supported by reinforced concrete abutments and piers, formed on reinforced concrete pile caps seated on tubular piles. The viaduct includes a 30.1m lift span actuated with large hydraulic cylinders.
