A. PURPOSEThe Bridgeton Board of Education (board) is seeking competitive proposals from qualified Consultants to assist the district in researching, developing, and submitting grant applications. B. SCOPE OF SERVICEThe selected Consultant shall work with the district to ensure technical and budget accuracy with grantors policies, search for appropriate funding sources, and insure delivery of grant applications by the deadline.The Consultant-s services shall include, but shall not be limited to the following:Grant Writing ServicesReview of previously submitted applicationsResearch new grant opportunitiesAugment District staff in the preparation of applicationsComplete and submit grant applicationsEvaluated the District-s current grant writing program/proceduresProvide regular updates to District representativesLegislative ServicesThe Consultant shall provide the district copies of any legislation affecting the districtAssist the District in drafting potential legislationSchedule meetings as requested by the district.C. QUALIFICATIONS OF RESPONDENTSEach respondent shall provide a detailed narrative demonstrating their knowledge and experience with grant-making agencies of the Federal, State and County Government. The successful consultant shall have documented successful history with NJ Farms to Schools Programs, Green House grants, 21st Century Pathways, and BPU Grants for energy conservation. In addition, the respondent should identify specific success stories in obtaining competitive grant funding for athletics, music, and the arts. Each respondent shall provide details on how they will keep the district informed of pending legislation and its potential impact on the district. Provide any sample communication(s) that will be distributed to inform the district. Respondents shall describe prior experiences working with PreK-12 public schools, excluding Bridgeton BOE, drafting potential legislation and/or communications to the senate and/or assembly.The respondent sh...
