The City is seeking a qualified Consultant to support the delivery of the Calgary Non-Market Housing Solar Program. The Calgary Non-Market Housing Solar Program (the "Program") is designed to provide financial support to building owners and operators of non-market rental housing for the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The Program offers comprehensive assistance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial scoping and planning to operational support. The Program aims to increase renewable energy generation capacity within the non-market housing sector. By reducing electricity consumption costs, the Program enables housing providers to redirect operating savings toward critical needs such as building maintenance and repairs, additional energy efficiency upgrades, rent reduction, or the introduction of new tenant services. To support the successful delivery of the Program, the Consultant will work collaboratively with City subject matter experts and external stakeholders. The Consultant will be responsible for: • Detailed program design; • Program initiation and launch coordination; • Development of administrative processes and documentation; • Day-to-day program implementation and operations; • Ongoing Participant support and engagement; and • Project management and performance tracking.
