The City of Calgary requires one qualified consulting firm to annually complete the Calgro Soil Sampling Program (the Program) that assesses agricultural soils and fields to determine suitability for biosolids application. The Program is completed to meet the Alberta Environment and Protected Areas - Guidelines for the Application of Municipal Wastewater Sludges to Agricultural Lands. Land that is found to meet Guideline requirements is eligible to receive biosolids application by the Calgro Biosolids Land Application Program. The Program takes place annually between September and June with the intensive field component being completed between September and November of the previous year. This project anticipates the following Scope of Work Phases: 1. Reconnaissance Review and Field Preparation 2. Soil Sampling and Field Data Collection 3. Data/Project Management and Information Transfer 4. Reporting and Deliverables 5. Required GPS Systems
