The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract for payment processing, cash collections, and point-of-sale cashier services for the City of Chesapeake Tax System, as part of our Tax Modernization initiative. The successful vendor (the “Contractor”) will offer a SaaS based solution providing an integrated, user-friendly, digital taxpayer experience as well as in person payment services.The service implemented must enable the City to:Provide a unified, multi-channel customer experience for City taxpayers.Streamline and enhance the collection and reconciliation of tax payments.Offer diverse payment options and locations for point of sale and online payments.
