this request for proposals (the "rfp") is an invitation by the corporation of the city of vernon (the "city") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of high-rate anaerobic treatment system equipment supply, as further described in the rfp particulars (appendix d) (the "deliverables").

the work includes design, supply, delivery, installation (if applicable) of a high rate anaerobic treatment system including components, parts, certified shop drawings, installation instructions and supervision, operation and maintenance manuals, and commissioning and training services.

the proposal is generally for:

#1 - two (2) high-rate anaerobic reactors, including all ancillary equipment

required to provide a working system that meets the treatment objectives;

#2 - one (1) biogas management system, including an enclosed flare, biogas heat recovery device, and hydrogen sulphide treatment process.

this rfp document and the accompanying appendix d1 - scope of work document outlines the overall scope of supply of the goods, sets out the basic requirements for the proposal and outlines the basis for awarding the contract. The successful proponent from the rfp process will be invited to contract with the owner and become the "supply contractor"
