The City of Fort St. John is inviting proposals from qualified Proponents to prepare technical memorandums that provide recommendations on the following:
Revising form and character DPA guidelines to ensure each Development Permit Area (DPA) is distinct, clearly articulated, and easily understood by the public, while maintaining high-quality design as a priority.
Drafting objective and measurable form and character DPA guidelines that promote consistency in interpretation and application.
Reviewing existing DPA exemptions in the Zoning Bylaw and advising City staff on potential improvements.
Ensuring alignment and consistency between the Development Permit Area sections in the Zoning Bylaw and the Official Community Plan.
