Summary:The Virginia State Police (“VSP”), on behalf of the Commonwealth of Virginia (“Commonwealth”), is seeking a real time enterprise-wide inventory management system to manage the inventory in their centralized and decentralized warehouses and area satellite offices across the Commonwealth. This project focuses primarily on improving the ease of use of inventory management for VSP, improving remote management capabilities, providing real time inventory reports, reducing waste, and optimizing SKU/stock transactions to provide VSP with real time stock and budget information. The solution should be simple and intuitive to use, with minimal requirement for training for the average user. VSP is looking for a Software as a Service (SaaS) Solution that includes applicable hardware, software, and services to support, maintain and enhance the Solution. Any server-based software services should be cloud hosted. The selected Solution needs to efficiently interface/integrate with Virginia’s electronic procurement portal (eVA), as well as any identified VSP systems.The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to solicit proposals to provide an inventory management Solution for the Virginia State Police on behalf of the Commonwealth of Virginia. VSP’s expectation is that this effort will result in the establishment of a renewable five (5) year contract that provides the means to satisfy the majority of VSP’s inventory management needs and requirements.Alliances among Suppliers are acceptable to meet the requirements of this procurement.
