Smart Sensor technology offers an opportunity to obtain continuous data to better inform business decisions for the GSA. GSA is limited in how data on occupants and indoor conditions are currently collected, and mostly reliant on manual data collection processes. With technology, there is opportunity to harvest data in a more real time way for facility management. This data can be used for safety initiatives consistent with social distancing practices, portfolio planning, and potentially for operational improvements within the facility.
